In order to change the ink cartridges of the HP OfficeJet Pro 8500a A909, the device must be turned on. The panel on the left side of the printer opens easily to provide access to the cartridges. A quick click on the cartridges releases them from their casings. Complete the process by lightly pressing the new cartridges into place.
