The functions and characteristics of the HP OfficeJet 4500
The HP OfficeJet 4500 can be used to print a large number of pages with simultaneous cost saving. It comes out to four cents for each page of text, and the printer prints said page within seven seconds. A printing capacity of 28 pages (black & white) or 22 pages (colour) is achieved per minute. Thanks to dimensions of 434 x 402 x 217 mm (W x D x H), there is enough space for the printer on any desk, and it does not get in the way. The printer is designed as a network solution and has a LAN connection. All computers then have access to the printing function, as the home server offers the functions and sends the commands to the device. Thanks to the USB 2.0 interface the printer can also be connected to a computer. The paper tray can hold 100 sheets and can be expanded with an automatic page feeder that supplies the printer with paper during operation. The DIN A4 and A5 formats are supported; borderless printing is also possible with the A4 format. The printing resolution is 4800 x 1200 dpi. For scanning, the possible resolution is 1200 x 2400 dpi.
