New Mechanism with many Benefits

Unlike other models in the market, Brother’s new inkjet multi-function (MFC) range features the revolutionary capillary tube print technology that eliminates the need for ink cartridges to be situated above the print head. Instead, cartridges are located separately and ink distributed via tubes direct to the print head for printing. By moving the cartridges off the print head, Brother has managed to create a printing mechanism that offers many benefits. Easy to spot is the fact that – since the ink tanks are no longer attached to the print head – Brother’s MFC can be built more compact with a lower profile and designed with sleek lines to suit today’s environment. Also, with less weight on the print head, there is less movement and vibration, subsequently reduces wearing on the machine components and leading to smoother and quieter operation. And lastly, without the print head carriage having to carry heavy and bulky ink tanks, it is now possible to significantly reduce power consumption, saving the environment and money.
