With several mergers and acquisitions throughout its history it became the Itochu Corporation in 1992 and is now one of the largest companies in the worlds , with over 700 subsidiaries involved in numerous industries encompassing, aerospace, electronics, chemicals, energy and even finance. As an early player in the printing market, its products included the early dot matrix plotters, with some collaboration with NEC or Citizen on certain printing hardware.
