Toner replacement for the Brother MFC-7460DN
The toner cartridge must be replaced when the “replace toner” message appears on the display of the Brother MFC-7460DN. First, make sure the device is turned off. Then open the front panel and remove the drum unit, which houses the toner cartridge. After releasing the toner cartridge from the drum unit, make sure to briefly rotate the new cartridge back and forth a few times to ensure even toner distribution. Then simply insert the new cartridge until it clicks into the drum. Put the drum unit back in the laser printer and close the front panel to complete the process.
