Fax and scan functions on the Brother MFC-9450CDN
The colour laser fax function operates at a speed of 33,600 bps and up to 16 recipients can be saved in the dialling memory. The Brother MFC-9450CDN can send and receive faxes either with or without a connection to a PC. The integrated colour scanner scans with a maximum resolution of 1,200 x 2,400 dpi. Scanned documents can be emailed directly or saved as either data or JPG files. Brother offers a 36-month guarantee on the MFC-9450CDN. Changing the toner in the Brother MFC-9450CDN
In order to change the toner, first make sure the device is turned off. Then simply unlatch the front panel and remove the drum unit by lifting the green lever. Remove the four toner cartridges from the drum unit and insert the new cartridges after removing the safety covers. Each Toner cartridge must be secured into place with its own lever. To complete the process, simply place the drum unit back in the machine and click it back into place.
