The device supports a variety of paper formats, including A4, A5, B5, legal, letter and envelope. Margin-less prints, manual double-sided prints and photo prints can be produced with a maximum resolution of 4,800 x 1,200 dpi. The device produces 8 pages per minute in black & white mode and 5 ppm in colour mode. The operating noise of the Canon PIXMA MP280 is a quiet 45.5 decibels. Device operation is easy using the LED screen – which provides you with the most important information – and user-friendly buttons. In contrast to many other Canon models, the MP280 has a preview option. In addition to the integrated drivers, the impressive software package includes a number of editing tools and a user-friendly scanner interface with a number of extra functions. For example, it is possible to take a screenshot of an HD film and produce a high-quality print from it without converting it to a PDF file. Changing the ink of the Canon PIXMA MP280 In order to change the ink cartridges, the device must be turned on. The cartridges can be accessed by lifting the scanner cover and propping it open using the built in lever. The print head unit will automatically move to a central position when the scanner cover is lifted. The cartridges can be released and removed by simultaneously pushing the two small levers on the print head unit. In case of leaked ink, remove cartridges carefully using a tissue. Always remember to remove the protective film from the new cartridges before inserting them into the device. Click new cartridges into the print head unit and close the scanner cover to complete the process. The first print after a cartridge change will automatically clean the cartridge heads.
