Replacing toner for the HP ColorLaserJet 2840 

The scanner unit must be opened in order to replace the toner. Then, the upper cover can be opened and the empty cartridge can be removed. Subsequently, the protective cover is removed from the toner cartridge, and the cartridge is inserted. The blue release lever must be pressed firmly. The cartridge must be inserted in such a way that you can feel it click into place. Finally, the scanner unit and the upper cover can be closed.
