The paper feed holds either 150 sheets of all common formats between DIN-A4 and DIN-A6 or up to 15 envelopes in the C5, DL and B5 formats. The most common US paper formats can also be used. When in operation the device consumes 350 watt. This is reduced to 1.4 watt in stand-by mode. As a purely black & white printer, the HP LaserJet P1102 reaches a printing speed of 18 pages per minute. The HP LaserJet P1102 has a standard resolution of 600 x 600 dpi. Replacing the toner cartridge for the HP LaserJet P1102

The HP LaserJet P1102 requires toner cartridge CE285A. In order to replace the toner, just open the printer cartridge cover and pull the cartridge out of the printer using its handle. The printer can be used with a new cartridge once the new cartridge has been inserted and the protective film has been removed. The printer comes with recycling instructions for the used cartridge.
