The HP Photosmart C309a is an ink-jet printer that can print and copy in black & white and colour. The monthly printing and copying capacity is maximum 2,500 sheets. A printing resolution of 600 x 600 dpi for black & white and up to 9600 x 2400 dpi for colour printouts is achieved. With regard to the copying function, the resolution is 1200 x 600 dpi. The printing and copying speed is between 32 and 33 pages per minute. Faxes are sent at a speed of 33.6 kbps. The device can save up to 90 fax pages. Scans are made with a colour depth of 48 Bits and a resolution of 4800 x 4800 dpi. The HP Photosmart C309 has integrated wireless network technology; thus, multiple users can print wirelessly on the network. Access is also possible via the multifunctional device's integrated Bluetooth function. The same applies to an Ethernet connection via cable. Furthermore, the 4-in-1 device is able to print images and documents directly from digital cameras and memory cards.

Separate replacement of the inks in the HP Photosmart C309a 

The ink for the HP Photosmart C309a can be replaced separately. The device must be turned on. Lift the access panel using the side handles and wait until the cartridge holder has moved into a central position. Then press the mechanical mechanism on the cartridge being replaced and remove the cartridge. Insert the new ink and slide into place. Finally, close the cover.
