HP Photosmart C3180: all-purpose solution for photographers 

The HP Photosmart C3180 is a printing studio that not only can be connected to the computer, but which also includes a memory card slot – amongst other things, for Compact-Flash, memory stick, and xD cards. The photographer can immediately print and present his work via this slot. The menu makes it possible to individualise the printing values. The dimensions of the photo printer are 43.3 x 29 x 16.2 cm (W x D x H). The multifunctional device is able to print 22 black & white pages and 20 colour pages per minute. The Photosmart achieves a resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi with optimised settings. Thanks to the dimensions, other photo sizes can be processed, and DIN A4 documents in a resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi are possible. Photos are printed in less than 130 seconds – in 50 seconds when the settings are low. The printing capacity can be compared to a laser printer, and the device is correspondingly quiet and is not bothersome while in operation. The print order for documents or photos can be given wirelessly via a server. The printer is connected via the home network. Photos can be copied without starting the printer. Place the photo on the scanner surface and press the copy button.

Replacing the ink in the HP Photosmart C3180 

It is easy to replace the ink in the HP Photosmart C3180. Turn on the device and open the access panel. Then remove the empty cartridge. Once the safety film has been removed insert the new ink cartridge; it will slide into place with a click. Close the access panel.
